The Octopus Offsite is the annual event that the company puts together to share what’s happened across all businesses and what’s the vision for the year ahead. The event is structured in different parts: morning conference with presentations from various senior people, afternoon activities and evening party.

For the 2019 edition, the main theme was around the application to be “B-Corp” certified company. Borrowing from those ideas, we came up with 5 stakeholders (People, Environment, Customer, Community, Shareholders) that will be used to classify every future initiative at Group level.

The visual look and feel of the event was thought so that people will only see the icons when entering the venue, while the presentations would then clarify what all of that meant. As a post-event strategy, I’ve designed t-shirts (to be given to all staff the next day at office), printed posters to be displayed in all meeting rooms and internal screen animations.
