This project was briefed in to showcase the impact of the group by bringing all the different business divisions together.

The visual identity sits at the Octopus master brand level and supports the journey of the company by tracking progress on six core pillars.

The minimal aesthetics of the icons representing each pillar is complemented by a digital-inspired card system that can expand and collapse according to the narrative.

The initial design vision has been developed thanks to design sprints sessions and customers testing. The final system is able to support story telling based on both data points and customer stories, and works seamlessly across online and offline channels. The elegant icons transcend words, making the system truly universal in application.

The Design Sprint

I organised 3 sessions with a cross-functional team to push for innovative solutions and to gain momentum on the project. the sessions used a mix of different techniques and processes, like competitor audits and crazy 8’s, that helped identify the problem and find a customer-centric solution.
